AR Museum Guide

Introduction

AR Museum Guide is developed during the Innovation Practice in SUSTech. The Smart City Research group of the Computer Department, where I work, cooperated with the Humanities and Social Science Center to develop an AR assistant guide application for the Pottery Museum of Southern University of Science and Technology.

A personal guide will guide you through the pottery museum. You can interact a lot with the guide.

Search

Search the pottery museum exhibits and display board information, as well as the museum activities and events. The guide will give you an audio explanation.

Explanation

You can ask the guide to explain specific exhibits to you near designated exhibits. Not only that, a digital twin of the exhibits will be presented to you. You can watch it or touch it.

Navigation

If you want to go to the designated place, you can ask the guide to show you the way. AR navigation will guide you where you want to go.

Game

The guide will take you through some games related to pottery chips. Such as pottery production, pottery restoration, and so on.
